This 1974 hand-painted folk art mirror is a captivating example of mid-70s fantasy decor. The wooden frame features three hand-carved, three-dimensional winged women or "wood nymphs" reclining gracefully around the glass. The piece is finished with vibrant, stylized floral patterns in a palette of forest green, deep red, and golden yellow.
The artist's signature and date, "WHIT 1974," are clearly visible in the bottom right corner.
Condition: This vintage piece shows charming character from age. There is noticeable wear and paint loss on the high points of the 3D figures, particularly on the edges of the wings, feet, and hair.
